Další test, kterému by slušelo zkrátit o pět vět, nebo prodloužit a rozdělit na dva. Nicméně se tak nestalo, navrhuju proto rozesetí testu po třech hodinách, s intrem v první a recallem intra v obou následujících hodinách (kvůli studentům, kteří onu první hodinu chyběli). V každé hodině tedy dojde na pět či šest vět a až po dokončení všech tří částí a ještě nějakém menším časovém odstupu (dva tři dny) bych rozdal vytištěné české věty.
I když je záhodno studenty pomocí intra na test připravit co nejlépe (ač nenápadně), u fáze sortie (simultánní tlumočení) se příliš vysoká úspěšnost překladů neočekává. Sortie slouží spíše k tomu aby si studenti uvědomili kolik důležitých obratů neumí přeložit, a to včetně obratů stokrát omílaných v hodinách, které už začali považovat za naučené. Za neúspěch bych považoval, pokud se stejný zásadní obrat (wonder, keep, had better) objeví ve třetím sortie za sebou a studenti jej stále neumí přeložit, to už je důvod k zamyšlení.
Daleko větší nároky bych kladl na práci s tiskovou verzí. Studenti mají na přeložení spoustu času, mohou konzultovat své spolužáky, nahlížet do poznámek, využívat internetu. Zde bych chyby tolik netoleroval.
